❁ Current Favourite Lipsticks ❁

"Give a women the right lipstick and she can conquer the world"

I haven't always been a massive fan of lipsticks, I was more of a lip balm kind of girl, however over the past few years, and I have come to love them!

Left to Right -

Estee Lauder - Lilac Lover - This is one of my favourite lipsticks, the colour is perfect for everyday, however I try to save it more for special events, as it is more on the expensive side at £22, but the formula is amazing, it help keeps the lips mosturised and the colour stays to the lip for a long time.

No.7 Moisture Drench - Mulberry - This lipstick has amazing pigment, I wear this lipstick when I wear more of a darker makeup look, and the lipstick is more matte than a normal lipstick however it doesn't make your lips dry at all. It has amazing staying power lasting all day even when eating and drinking.

Kate Moss Matte Lipstick - 110 - This is a bright matte lipstick, I don't normally wear bold lipsticks like this however on nights out or on more summer/spring days I like a more bright lip, sometimes for a more sutle lip, I would use my finger to apply the lipstick for a lighter colour on the lips. The only problem with this lipstick is I find that it does dry out the lips, so I do wear a lipbalm under which does take away the matte a bit, but it makes the colour look better on the lips with a bit of lip balm.

M.A.C - Peach Blossom - This is another one which I wear daily, it's a very simple colour which makes it perfect for everyday, creating a simple look. It's a very moisturising lipstick, I find it does last a long time if you don't eat or drink, otherwise you have to keep applying it.

Avon - Oxford Wine - This is a deep berry colour, this is more of an autumn colour, however I love to wear this colour on nights out or more bold makeup looks, I am not normally one for dark colours, however this colour is really easy to wear. It also has amazing staying power and lasts you day/night, even if you drink and eat, its only fades a bit.

What are your current favourite lipsticks?

♡ Real Techniques Deep Cleansing Gel Review ♡

Cleaning makeup is probably the worst day of the week, especially when you have lots of brushes, however it's all worth it in the end, because who doesn't love clean and great smelling brushes?!

I used to use Shampoo to clean my brushes, I heard it more or less did the same job, however I wasn't feeling that my brushes were cleaning 100% so I decided to go out a buy a cleaner designed for makeup brushes, so as I was browsing Superdrug, I came across this Real Techniques deep cleaning gel, and as most of brushes were from RT, I thought I can't go wrong.

Price - £6.99

How to use -
  • Damp the tip of the brushes with warm water.
  • Place a 2p amount of product into the palm of your hand.
  • Then use circlar motions to clean the brush (I found I had to repeat this a few times with the brushes I used everyday, for example my foundation brushes)
  • Once no more product is coming out the brushes, rinse with water until there are no more bubbles.
  • Then dry brush with towel, then leave to dry.

My Brushes always smell amazing and are so soft after using this gel.

I try to do this a least once a week, to make sure my brushes are looked after.

♡ Haul - Primark, Superdrug & Benefit ♡

Nothing better than going on a lovely shopping trip with Lucy to end 2015.

Primark -

I have wanted a Thermal Mug for a while now, because there is nothing better than a hot chocolate in the mornings, so now I can take my drink with me on my way to college, plus how pretty is the pattern on this one!

£3.00

Once again the sock monster has come and taken some of my socks leaving me with odd socks, so I brought was more hopefully these will stick around!

I thought the pattern on these are really cute!

£2.50

The main reason I went to Primark was to get some PJ bottoms, and I found these, not only are they the cutest things, but they were also in the sale, so I couldn't say no... right?

£3.00

I have been on the look out for a pair of boots for a while as my current ones are falling apart!

I found these, which I was surprised by how nice they were, for some reason, the 'wide fit' fitted me better than then normal boots, which is very weird because I have quite narrow feet.
They have a slight heel, they are very comfortable!

£15.00

The last thing I picked up form Primark, were these fairy lights, I swear every time I go to Primark I always get lights!

These are have really cute butterflies and flowers on. They are battery powered, which is great if you don't want wires running across the floor.

£3.00

Benefit -

AHH! I finally bit the bullet and got the Hoola Bronzer, everyone is always saying how amazing this is, and I can totally agree, It blends so easily and creates a lovely finish!

It is pretty expensive for a bronzer, but from the reviews I have heard it lasts a long time and is worth the money.

£23.50

Of course I went to superdrug to look at the makeup, as I did need a new concealer, I wanted the try something new and I have heard many people say they love the Maybelline The Eraser Eye Concealer, so far I really like it.

£7.99

I have also wanted to try the Maybelline Lash Sensation, as everyone has said its amazing and like Roller Lash, as I love Roller Lash but it is more on the pricier side, I thought I would try this Mascara as an cheaper option, I am yet to try it, but will let you know my thoughts once I have!

£7.99

Maybelline currently have a 3 for 2 offer, so after about 20 minutes of deciding what my third product would be, I finally picked the Baby Skin, again people have said this like Benefit porefessional, I have tried this, but I haven't decided if I liked it or not, once I have tried it properly, I will share my thoughts.

£7.99
(but was free because of the 3 for 2 offer!)

Then because I brought three Items you got a free gift, which was a nail set, with a red and then gold there were also the options for sliver or white, but I love red and gold nails :)

☃ Blogmas Day 9 - Avon 'Oxford Wine' Lipstick Review ☃

I have never really been into dark berry lips, as I have never had the confidence to wear it out of the house, but recently and I have braved it and worn it out a few times, I have been loving this lip stick from Avon in 'Oxford Wine' Its perfect as you can build it up or just wear as a light berry colour.

I have tried a few Avon Lip Sticks and they have all been amazing quality  and have a long stay wear, I worn this one on a night out a few weeks ago and it stayed pretty much on all night, even having drinks!

It has a lovely satin finish which I love. I wore this with a gold eye make up look, and it really completed the whole makeup look. It also looks great which everyday makeup at this time of year.

I would recommend wearing a lip balm under the lipstick, as my lips do dry a bit while wearing this lipstick!

Avon Shop - £7.50

♡ My Prom ♡

On Friday 27th I had my Prom, I had an amazing time with all my friends & Everyone looked amazing!

Prom is something everyone looks forward to when they start high school and I know I did, I loved the whole idea of dressing up and wearing a pretty dress. When you are little the day seems ages away but it soon comes around and goes in a flash.

I thought I would do a post about my whole day and what I did and what I got done.

The night before my prom I had my first spray tan, I had it done with three of my other friends at one of my friends house, I had the Tan done by the really lovely Jemma she was so nice and knew what she was doing! The Tan she used was Sienna X and I had the light colour you can have which was a 6% (I think) because I have fair skin, I didn't want to have a really dark tan and to end up looking like someone off TOWIE or something! The tan came out amazing and I'm so glad I had Jemma because she knew what to do and it came out like a natural tan!

On the day I had my hair done first thing in the morning at the a local hairdressers called 'Renaissance' The girl was so nice and she did an amazing job and I have to say it came out 10x better than I even thought it would.

After I had my hair done I went back to my friend's house and We had our makeup done, which we also had done by Jemma and she did an amazing job! I forgot to get a good picture of the makeup.

  • For base I had a toner and a light moisturizer (I'm not sure which one she used)
  •  Light foundation which was a mix of Mac tinted moisturizer mixed with YSL foundation.
  • She then used a bit of benefit boi ing under my eyes.
  • For eyes She used the Naked 1 Palette, using 'Virgin' and then used a navy eyeliner.
  • She then used 'Chanel soleil Tan De' to add a bit of colour, She then added a blusher but I didn't see which one she used.
  • Then for eyebrows she used a little blonde pencil to fill then in.
  • For Lips I used Estee Lauder in the shade '34 Lilac Lover' which is a light pink colour.

After having makeup done, My sister painted my nails sliver with Barry M Rose Quartz over the top.

After that we then put our dresses on, My dress was a long navy blue with sliver detailing at the top which is from Debenhams Quiz.

For Jewellery:
Ring: Dorothy Perkins
Bracelet: Denenhams Jon Richard
Earrings: Denenhams Jon Richard

My bag is from somewhere in Italy called 'Lala Italia' my Grandma gave me.
 &
My shoes are from a local shop called 'Suit U'

If you made it to the end well done! this was a very long post.
I just want to say sorry for not posting in so long I started a job a few weeks ago so I work weekends, but I have finished all my exams now well I finished them 2 weeks ago, but I will hopefully be posting more now that I'm on holiday hah!

♡ How to Style a | Pepulm Top ♡

Sunday's Outfit

One of my latest favourite piece of clothing is my pepulm top I got from New look in the sale, I think they are perfect for people who have a hour glass figure.

One thing I pair my pepulm top with is a pair of simple jeans, it's a causal look for a weekend. I would wear a pair of Converses or Toms to finish the look.

I love the way the pepulm top can flatter my figure so well. The top half of the top is body fitting, and then goes in at the waist which makes your waist look smaller and then it goes back out which makes your hips look smaller.

♡ I hope you like this 'How to Style' if you have any thing you would like me to make a post about comment down below ♡
